The Atlantic and National Geographic current issues present difficult cover stories

Why Do The Best Soldiers in the World Keep Losing is the question posed on the cover of The Atlantic, January/February 2015 issue. The feature article, written by James Fallows, is entitled, The Tragedy of the American Military, pp. 73-80. Two shorter, related articles follow, Gun Trouble, where Robert H Scales questions the safety of the "flawed" M4, and in How I Learned to Love the Draft, Joseph Epstein argues for the reintroduction of the draft.

The current issue can be read on the 3rd floor of the library or at this time via this link.

Healing Our Soldiers: Unlocking the Secrets of Traumatic Brain Injury by Caroline Alexander with photographs by Lynn Johnson.pp.30-53 is the cover story of the latest issue of National Geographic magazine.

The current issue can be read on the 3rd floor of the library or at this time via this link.
