James Meierhoff, historical archaeologist, presents an illustrated lecture on the Kellogg's Grove site in Stephenson County and scene of the last skirmish in Illinois of the Black Hawk War of 1832.

Veterans Information Session at Niles Library, Tuesday, October 13, 9 am
James Harkins, Evanston Vet Center Outreach Specialist, will provide
information and answer questions from veterans about disability claims,
medical care, employment assistance and other issues on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at the Niles Public Library, 6960 W. Oakton St.
Mr. Harkins is a Gulf War
vet and will visit the library on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 9am to noon. Veterans will be able to meet him in the 1st floor Commons Area.
