The Chicago author, Kathryn Atwood, recounts feats of espionage by brave women from eight different countries who risked their lives to defeat Nazi tyranny on Wednesday, October 8, at 7pm at the Niles Public Library.
Rest in Peace Walter D. Tymczuk, World War II Army Veteran
and a participant in the Veterans History Project at the Niles Public Library passed away on September 6, 2014. Mr. Tymczuk participated in the invasion of Normandy as a rifleman and the Battle of the Bulge.
